In February 2010, I met my hero, Rolanda. Rolanda walked into the clinic thinking abortion was her only option. The minute I saw her and heard her story I knew she would somehow be in my life forever. Due to special circumstances, I had found her free funding for her termination, a termination that ultimately would not happen. Instead of an ending that day, a new beginning began. The beginning of her adoption story. The beginning of my daughter, Gianna's adoption story.

Our adoption story would end up being the perfect representation of Choice Network, an agency that believes in a true choice for all women. Rolanda, already a young single parent was faced with a decision. Choice Network held her hand through each choice - abortion? parenting? adoption? - until she found the right one for her. Adoption allowed Rolanda to be in her daughter's life in a special way. With an open adoption Gia will always know her Mama Rolanda, her birth sister and her grandma GiGi. She will always know her story and the gift of love that brought her to us.

Our stories are profound. Never in my life did I think this agency could create so many happy endings. We have helped over 30 women facing an unintended pregnancy and over 10 couples make their adoption dreams come true in just over a year. We learned a new form of therapy called Orders of Love, which we are confident will bring the birth and adoptive families we work with to a new level of success in their adoption journey. We have partnered with over twenty clinics and have support from both pro-life and pro-choice agencies as we are truly a common ground. We care about birth families, adoptive families and Choice Network babies with so much love it hurts at times.

Gianna means "God is good" and after being blessed to do this work, I can tell you, he sure is.
